These initial cartons were tetrahedra, leading to the company's name: TetraPak, derived from "four" in the Greek languageAnother one called the TetraBrik was introduced in nineteen sixty three (1963), which was a rectangular cuboid carton. Tetrawedge which was wedge shaped packaging and tetraprisma which was a round octagonal packaging along with tetrafino which was a pouch shaped packaging were other cartons that were launched. TetraPak also produced other non aseptic packaging systems . including tetrarex (gable top), tetratop (paper and plastic molded in one) and the now discontinued tetraking, these are some other tetra bio bags.
